Haiku Poem Trees by Charlotte F

Trees

Sap, twigs, leaves and roots.
Ancient branches on the ground.
Curled, twisted old trunk.

Welcome to Room 2, 2015

Hi everyone, we are well into week 2 and having a great time. Room 2 you are awesome. If you are reading this now, come to me tomorrow and say "hippopotamus" and I will give you 5,000 house points. Easy as that.

We have been working on our class culture and have come up with our own class treaty which we all signed. I "burnt" the edges of the treaty at school which was quite amusing for everyone. We all smelled of smoke, but our treaty looks amazing.

The children all brainstormed what they thought our class should look like and feel like. Our treaty is our top ideas we found most important. This contract is also bound to our "online" behaviour. Here are two  pictures of the event.

The blog is run by monitors from Room 2. They are responsible for putting up one post every week. I will also contribute different things I find. I hope you enjoy our blog this year and the children look forward to your comments. Miss J.
